Conflicts arise,
Yet I despise,
The tears in their innocent eyes,
Time to switch gears,
Leaving yesterdays fears,
As the sunset nears,
Singing in the rain,
Shouting out the stain,
Allowing what strengthens me to remain,
As I demonstrate,
To release the hate,
To enlighten my fate,
Taking it day by day,
Watching the children play,
All sadness left in the month of may.
